A NIGHT AT THE LIBRARY

A Night at The Library is quickly growing into Nairobi’s most glamorous event. This annual gala re-introduces audiences to Nairobi’s public libraries and showcases these spaces’ past, present, and future. The event raises funds and secures partnerships needed for Book Bunk’s groundbreaking work. Our event brings glamour, fashion, and storytelling to McMillan Memorial Library – Nairobi’s oldest library – and offers patrons an opportunity to play a part in creating truly inclusive public spaces. This year’s theme is African Royalty—an ode to the continent’s history and vibrant cultures. Join us as we celebrate and contribute to revitalising these crucial cultural public libraries, ensuring they remain vibrant centres of learning and creativity for future generations.
