To mark Mashujaa Day on the 20th of October, Book Bunk, In partnership with Goethe-Institut Nairobi, screened children films at the Makadara branch of the McMillan Memorial Library and at the Kaloleni Social Hall. We showed #Khumba at Makadara and #SupaModo at Kaloleni. We think film is a useful way to engage young library users and to expand how they interact with public spaces, especially libraries. More than three hundred kids turned up! They had a great time engaging with the films and with Stycie Waweru, Supa Modo Protagonist. Join us for the next screening on the 17th November at the Makadara Library.
