We’ve recently rolled out some programming for the McMillan Memorial Library. In partnership with NBO Film Fest, we screened Nairobi Half Life, a Kenyan favourite, at the Eastlands branch (Makadara) of McMillan Memorial Library. In the audience, we had children from the neighbourhood as well as the YMCA Rehabilitation Centre in Makadara. After the screening, the film’s director Tosh Gitonga took questions from the young audience.
