Have an exclusive conversation with stylist Brain Babu

Brian Babu is a stylist, free thinker and lover of all things fashion and style. With A-list clients from Janet Mbugua, Amina Abdi, Wahu and Sarah Hassan, to mega music artists, Sauti Sol, Brian Babu is the reason so many media personalities look as good as they do. A skill that has garnered him quite the covetable reputation in the fashion and media industry. What started as a favor for his sister led his name to being attached to prestigious awards, Kenya Fashion Awards’s Stylist of the Year 2016, Abryanz Style & Fashion Awards 2016 East Africa Stylist of The Year, and nominee of Abrayanz Style and Fashion Awards 2017. His work has also been a part of Netflix’ American hit show Sense8, where he dressed some of the actors and at Coke Studio, he got to style back-up vocal musicians and the Coke Studio bands, Sauti Sol and Dama do Bling, an artiste from Mozambique. Prior to this, Babu had styled models for TV commercials like “Facebook for Africa” and models on advertisement billboards like the “Safaricom Big Box”.
